Rudgwick Village Hall

Rudgwick Village Hall is located on the site of the playing fields off the A281, Guildford Road in Bucks Green. The hall is equipped with a full size dance floor, stage, small meeting room, which is ideal for private functions such as weddings and parties. In terms of capacity, 70 people can enjoy a sit down meal or a maximum of 100 for a buffet and disco. Although we have an entertainment’s licence, we are not licensed for the sale of alcohol, so anyone requiring a bar would be responsible for obtaining the necessary licence or guests can just bring along their own tipple of choice.

The kitchen has been refurbished and is a fully equipped kitchen, with servery, dishwasher, oven, microwave, crockery and fridge and freezer. Ideal for large parties and events.

There are Ladies and Gents toilets and a separate disabled toilet, incorporating baby changing facilities.

Improvements to the hall are ongoing so keep in touch if you have a future event in mind. Come and arrange a visit. It’s a great place to spend special occasions with family and friends.

The Village Hall’s outdoor facilities include a front car park with 10 spaces and extensive parking to the rear. There is a well maintained football and cricket pitch, with changing facilities which provides local teams with a home ground. Tennis courts have been recently refurbished. (Please contact the relevant sports club for more information). We also have a playground which caters for children of all ages and abilities and a new concrete Skatepark.

If you are interested in hiring the hall, please note that there are pre-determined time slots for events and parties: 8.00 – 12.30; 13.00 – 17.30 and 18.00 – 23.30. (NB This includes setting up/taking down/tidying up time)

There are currently sessions available for regular clubs or one-off private hire. Please see below for regular events at the Village hall that you may wish to attend or contact the Parish Office on 01403 822678 / Clerk@Rudgwick-pc.gov.uk to book the hall for an event or to start a regular hire agreement.
